1. What TWIX is
TWIX (Teach Work Income eXperience) publishes job listings submitted by employers and profiles created by job seekers. TWIX is an information and listing service. TWIX does not employ users, does not act as a party to any employment contract, and does not hold itself out as a licensed employment placement or recruitment agency.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity on your account. Accounts may hold one or more roles (job seeker, employer, administrator, moderator).
3. Truthful information
By submitting content to TWIX you confirm that it is truthful and accurate.
Employers must not misrepresent
- salary, pay frequency or deductions;
- working hours, teaching hours or office hours;
- vacation, holidays or days off;
- housing, housing allowance, airfare, severance or insurance;
- job duties, workplace conditions or visa sponsorship;
- legal requirements applying to the position.
Job seekers must not falsify
- degrees, certificates or teaching qualifications;
- teaching or work experience;
- identity, nationality or visa information;
- uploaded documents or references.
4. No guarantee of accuracy
TWIX does not guarantee that every employer or job seeker is truthful, and does not verify the content of listings or profiles unless a verification feature explicitly states otherwise. Users are responsible for independently verifying employment conditions, qualifications, identity, contracts and any other important information before entering into an employment relationship.
5. Prohibited content and conduct
- fraudulent, deceptive or non-existent job listings;
- unlawful or discriminatory requirements;
- requests for illegal employment arrangements;
- requests for payment from job seekers as a condition of being hired;
- harassment, abuse, spam, scraping or attempts to breach platform security;
- uploading malicious files or other people's documents without permission.
6. Moderation and enforcement
Listings may be reviewed before publication. Where content or conduct breaches these terms, TWIX may issue a warning, remove a listing, remove content from search results, suspend an account, or permanently close an account. Where legally required or appropriate, matters may be reported to the relevant authorities.
7. Payments
Job posting is currently free. Where paid products are offered, the price and currency shown at checkout is the amount charged. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; TWIX does not store full card details. Refunds are handled under the Refund Policy and applicable Korean consumer-protection and e-commerce law.
8. Intellectual property and user content
You retain ownership of the content you submit and grant TWIX a licence to host, display and distribute it for the purpose of operating the platform. TWIX branding, design and software remain the property of TWIX.
9. Limitation of responsibility
TWIX provides the platform on a reasonable-efforts basis and is not responsible for the acts or omissions of employers or job seekers, or for the outcome of any employment relationship. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from intent or gross negligence, or rights that consumers have under mandatory Korean law.
10. Disputes and applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Users are encouraged to contact TWIX first so that complaints can be resolved directly. Statutory dispute-resolution options available to consumers under Korean law are unaffected.
11. Changes
These terms may be updated. Material changes will be announced on the platform before taking effect.
