1. Truthful credentials
Degrees, certificates (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA and similar), teaching experience, identity and visa information must be accurate. Uploading forged, altered or borrowed documents results in removal of the profile and permanent account closure, and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
2. Your profile and visibility
You decide whether your profile is discoverable by employers and which fields are visible. Contact details and documents are not public by default. You can hide, deactivate or delete your profile at any time.
3. Applying for jobs
When you apply or contact an employer, the information you choose to share is transmitted to that employer. TWIX cannot control how an employer subsequently handles it beyond the obligations imposed by the Employer Terms and applicable law.
4. Verify before you commit
TWIX does not verify employers or guarantee that listings are accurate. Before accepting any offer, verify the school's registration, read the full contract, check working hours, vacation, housing, pension, insurance and severance terms, and seek independent advice if anything is unclear. Never pay an employer or agent for a job placement.
5. Reporting
Report listings or employers that appear fraudulent, misleading or abusive. Reports are reviewed by moderators; TWIX may act on them but cannot resolve private employment disputes.
6. Conduct
Do not create multiple accounts to misrepresent yourself, impersonate others, scrape listings or contact employers for purposes unrelated to employment.
